Well this is a first…people losing it over Brazilian butts? Huh?
Brazil’s annual Miss Bumbum contest, which is basically the olympics of bikini contests, is catching major heat over their depiction of Leonardo Da Vinci’s iconic Last Supper painting with 8 bootylicious ladies in thongs.
Apparently Catholics don’t like it when you swap out Christ and his disciples with a bunch of big ol’ booties. The sexy photoshoot faced serious backlash from Brazil’s Catholic Community who think the depiction is a slap in the face.
Butt wait, there’s more
Brazil takes the Miss Bumbum contest seriously and the competition is said to be stiff. Cacau Oliver, the pageant’s creators and mastermind behind the Last Supper theme said the biblical depiction represents the pressure the girls were under as they faced the grand finale.
I Regret nothing
While Oliver has no regrets, the woman depicting Sexy Jesus issued a public apology. Daiana Fegueredo admits that she has regretted participating in the photo shoot and emphasized her commitment to the Catholic Church.
